Dr. Eugene Dolinsky

Dr. Eugene Dolinsky is a leader in his field of dentistry who made many contributions to the community of Red Deer.  He focused much effort on early orthodontic approaches and was integral to the establishment of important and needed dental health services.  A long time member of the Red Deer community, Dr. Dolinsky has made many professional, cultural and educational contributions, which have been of significant benefit to individuals and the community.

  • Established the Dental Department at Red Deer Hospital
  • Chief of Dental Staff for 9 years at Red Deer Hospital
  • Member of Dental Association Auxiliary Services
  • Past President of Central Alberta Dental Society
  • Instrumental in Establishment of Central Alberta Dental Assistance Association
  • Mentor for Orthodontic Growth Guidance Study Club
  • Lectured in Canada, USA, and England

Dr. Kenneth Wu

Graduated - 1977
Inducted - 2006

Dr. Kenneth Wu has dedicated his life to helping others.  He trained in acupuncture internationally for nine years and has had a medical practice in Red Deer since 1986.  He is very accomplished in Tai Chi and Kung Fu and has been an active member of the community.

  • Member of the Labor Minister Appointed Acupuncture Committee of Alberta and Advisory Committee for Grant MacEwan (Acupuncture Program). 
  • Continuing Education Chairman for the Acupuncture Society of Alberta
  • Committee member of the David Thompson Health Region PTECH Committee 
  • Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
  • Has done advanced herbal and acupuncture study in China, has been involved in nutritional therapy studies and naturopathic studies

Gordon Forbes

Graduated - 1974
Inducted - 2006

Gordon Forbes developed an interest in motorsport which led to his involvement in the production of the first structural parts for racing cars using new composite materials. 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering University of Calgary
  • Technical delegate to the Federation International de L’Áutomobile (FIA) – the governing body of world motorsport
  • Worked with a major car engineering/racing company, a major client Jaguar.  They manufactured limited edition cars such as the Jaguar XJR15
  • Worked in all international series of motorsport such as Formula 1, Indy cars and prototype sports cars
  • Works as Senior Observer for safety testing, checking integrity of car structures and impact tests, one of five in the world doing this work for FIA
