Hello,

My name is Cathy Mottus-Landry and I am thrilled to join the staff here at Gateway Christian School. I look forward to serving our students, parents, staff, and community as Vice Principal this year.  I started my teaching career in 2003 as an English teacher in Japan before joining Red Deer Public Schools in 2006.  I have previously served as an elementary generalist teacher, district Early Learning Lead Teacher, Student Services Coordinator, and Vice Principal at Barrie Wilson Elementary School.

I feel blessed to focus support on our Kindergarten to Grade Five students this school year. I also look forward to watching them explore their part in God's story as they learn and grow. On a personal note, I cherish the time I can spend with my wonderful husband and son (who is also a Gateway student), travelling, reading, cooking, and observing the glory of God on nature walks.
