High School Flex Time
Learning opportunities are presented in many different forms for students. One key is to be flexible! Flex time is scheduled into the timetable of middle and high school students so that they can take advantage of this flexibility. During Flex, students may gain extra understanding on topics that require it, work in small groups on projects or assignments, have focused time with teachers to go over learning objectives that they are struggling with, choose to complete assignments that they are behind on or receive direct, specialized instruction in a particular area.
Middle School students receive a double block of Flex one time per week, and High School students have Flex time scheduled for forty-five minutes per day in their timetables.
