Athletics
We have a strong athletic tradition at Central and have put together many champion teams over the years. The spirit of competitive athletic competition runs strong in many of our Cyclones! Our organized athletics include the following:
Running Club:
We have an active running club with many members (teachers and students) that runs in the fall and spring. Members have the opportunity to run in the Dawe Run competitively.
Volleyball: (Fall)
Our competitive volleyball program consists of:

Basketball: (Winter)
- Jr. Boys and Girls Co-Ed

Badminton: (Spring):
- Grade 6 Boys and Grade 6 Girls (Singles and Doubles Teams)
- Grade 7 Boys and Grade 7 Girls (Singles and Doubles Teams), as well as mixed-doubles
- Grade 8 Boys and Grade 8 Girls (Singles and Doubles Teams), as well as mixed-doubles
Handball: (Spring)
We have one handball team that practices and competes together
