My name is Sean Grainger. I am very happy to be returning for my sixth year as the Vice Principal/Learning Assistance Teacher at Joseph Welsh Elementary School! I am also excited to add Mental Health/Wellness Coordinator for RDPSD to my responsibilities this year.

I totally enjoy cycling and road bike racing, skiing, camping, and anything else that can be done outdoors. I spend a lot of time with my kids. Avery and Wyatt, and my wife, Bina who teachers grade 1 at Annie L. Gaetz Elementary School. I read a lot and I like to write as well! 

I have been with Red Deer Public Schools for twenty years having taught within the Alternative Programs, served as a middle school counselor, and for a combined ten years as vice principal at Mattie McCullough and Glendale Sciences and Technology School before coming to JW.
