Bring a friend / Demo days

Join us for the RDPSD Sports Academy Bring a Friend Day/Demo Day and discover what our Baseball, Hockey, and Soccer Academies have to offer. Experience a day of training at no cost and no obligation. Open to anyone in Grades 6-8 from any school who is not currently enrolled in the Sports Academy.

Students will participate alongside current Academy members, witnessing firsthand the engaging programs that develop skills and instill values like teamwork, respect, and resilience.

Parental transportation is required to and from the venues! All Demo Days will be held at The Dome or the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre Arena. 

• Hockey Academy Grade 6:Feb 12 or 15, 1:15-2:15 p.m. at the Gary W. Harris
  • Pick a day that works best for you and meet at the GWH at 1 p.m., Room #2.
  • Full set of protective equipment. Players and goalies are welcome!
  • Must be able to skate and have a basic hockey skill set.
  • Parents must provide transportation to and from the Gary W. Harris.

• Hockey Academy Grade 7/8:Feb 12 or 15, 11-12 p.m. at the Gary Harris W. Harris
  • Pick a day that works best for you and meet at the GWH at 1 p.m., Room #2.
  • Full set of protective equipment. Players and goalies are welcome!
  • Must be able to skate and have a basic hockey skill set.

• Baseball Academy Grades 6/7/8:Feb 14, 11-12 p.m. at The Dome
  • Meet at the Dome at 10:55 a.m. with a baseball glove and clean indoor shoes.
  • Parents must be able to provide transportation to and from The Dome.

• Soccer Academy Grades 6/7/8:Feb 14, 11:00-12:00 pm @ The Dome
  • Meet at The Dome at 10:55 a.m. with clean shoes for soccer.
  • Parents must be able to provide transportation to and from The Dome.
