My name is Cam Pizzey and I am excited to be the principal of Don Campbell Elementary.  I have a personal connection to the Campbell family and it is an honor to have been chosen as Principal of the school.  DCE opened in the Fall of 2017.  I look forward to continued growth and learning opportunities for both staff and students.

I started my career in 1992 and worked in Chinooks Edge School Division before coming to Red Deer Public School District in the Fall of 2014.  I was the Vice-Principal at Mountview School and the Principal at West Park Elementary before coming to Don Campbell.    

I grew up in Red Deer and attended GW Smith Elementary, Eastview Middle, and Lindsay Thurber High School. My wife and I have two children who also attend Red Deer Public Schools.  My family enjoys many activities including camping, golfing, biking, and hockey (Ringette).   We also enjoy travelling, with Disney World being one of our favorite places to visit.

I continue to look forward to the many challenges that will come our way and I am especially excited to work with the exceptional staff and students of  Don Campbell  Elementary School!!
