
Celebrating the Class of 2025!
Posted onGrade 12 marks an exciting year for students. It’s a time filled with growth, determination, anticipation and reflection. It all leads to one of the most significant milestones in a young person’s life - graduation. Wearing the cap and gown, walking across the stage and celebrating alongside family, friends, classmates and staff who have helped them reach their goals, is a moment students look forward to throughout their high school years.
Red Deer Public Schools is proud to announce the upcoming graduation ceremonies for our high school students. These celebrations are a tribute to our students’ hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments. We look forward to marking this special occasion with pride, joy and community spirit.
Graduation celebrations for each high school will be as follows:
- Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School - Thursday, May 22, 2025
- Two ceremonies at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre
- Hunting Hills High School - Friday, May 23, 2025
- Two ceremonies at 9 a.m and 12:30 p.m. at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre
- Pines Alternative School Centre and North Cottage - Thursday, June 26, 2025
- One ceremony at 1 p.m. at Pines Alternative School
- Gateway Christian - Thursday, June 26, 2025
- One ceremony at 3:30 p.m. at Crossroads Church
“On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I want to extend our congratulations to the Class of 2025,” said Nicole Buchanan, Chair of the Board of Trustees. “This year’s graduates have shown incredible resilience and dedication. As they step into the next chapter of their lives, we are proud of all they have accomplished and we are excited to see the positive impact they will make.”
“Graduation is a powerful milestone - not just for our students, but for their families, friends, and school communities,” said Chad Erickson, Superintendent. “It marks the culmination of years of learning and growth, and the beginning of new possibilities. We are proud of our graduations and we are confident they will continue to achieve great things no matter where life takes them.”
