Our Community Liaison Workers are professional staff who are part of each school's Student Support Team and supervised by a Clinical Coordinator.

The focus of the CLW Program is on Positive Youth Development through early intervention and prevention that supports the social, emotional and mental wellness of individuals and families.

Community Navigation and Connection

In addition to direct supports by our Community Liaison Worker, there are many resources and supports available in our community. Often times, it is difficult to know what these services are and how to access them. Through our community connections we can assist families in navigating services available in the City of Red Deer.

Red Deer Public School Division is committed to working with home, school and community to provide the best outcomes for students.

Community Liaison Program can provide:

• Support services to families and children facing social, emotional or family challenges.

• Promote effective communication and parenting skills.

• Build skills with students individually or in small groups.
