2022/2023 will be my second year at Hunting Hills and I am the Grade 11 Vice-Principal. Prior to becoming an administrator I have taught a variety of Physical Education and Social Studies classes. Along with ten years in Red Deer Public Schools, my wife and I completed a one-year teacher exchange to a high school in Melbourne, Australia in 2015. It was while overseas and immersed in a project-based learning environment that I developed a passion for student-driven education and completed my Masters in Educational Leadership with a focus in PBL from Concordia University in Portland in 2019.

I love working with kids and having taught many of them through their middle school years at Westpark. Having a hand in their development through high school is very rewarding. I believe that all kids have the ability to be successful and I look forward to working with your child in helping to open doors for them past high school.

On the personal side, my wife Jackie is also a teacher down the hill at Lindsay Thurber and we have two kids. Our son Nash is four and our daughter Pryce is two. They keep us very busy at home. In my spare time I am an avid golfer and a big Flames fan. Our family loves to be outdoors and travelling the world!
