Administrators - Vice Principal
My name is Mitch Irvine, and I am excited for another year at Eastview Middle School!
I started my teaching career in Edmonton at Harry Ainlay High School before moving back to Red Deer in 2012/2013. I have spent the majority of my career at the Middle School level and have recently just moved from Hunting Hills High School, where I was the Grade 12 Vice Principal.
I have a background in sports and have been able to represent our country at an International level. I love education and hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree from the University of Alberta, as well as a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Lethbridge Graduate program. My wife and I have a 3-year-old daughter named Kendrick, who keeps us extremely busy at home! I am an avid mountain biker, hiker and golfer in the summer and enjoy the mountains in the winter.
I am looking forward to working with the incredible staff, students, and families at Eastview Middle School this year!
