We’re here to support parents, too! We know Kindergarten can feel like a big step, but with Red Deer Public Schools, parents can be rest assured that their child will learn, play, and thrive in a safe, happy environment.

Choose from full-day and half-day programs offered in English, French and Spanish. Our experienced Kindergarten teachers focus on communication, early literacy, and numeracy skills, while also nurturing independence, confidence, and friendships.

Meanwhile, Red Deer Public’s inclusive Little Learners Pre-Kindergarten program is specially designed for children aged three and four. It’s a warm, welcoming space where young children can play and socialize with peers, boost communication and creativity, and foster a lifelong love of learning. With wrap around supports from Speech and Language, Behavioural, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Little Learners offers tailored opportunities to meet each child’s unique needs. Early intervention ensures all children are set up for success.
