Angela Lajeunesse Memorial Basketball Tournament

On July 6th we host the second women’s alumni memorial basketball tournament in the name of former Raider player and coach Angela Lajeunesse.  Past and present players and coaches participated. (Ranging from Grad class of 1991-2027) 
This tournament was organized as a way for her memory to live on and raise money to create a scholarship in her name. The scholarship will help young women in our school better their basketball skills. 

This year we presented two scholarships in Angela's name. These scholarships were awarded to McKinley Penninga and Jorgia Hicks who will both be continuing to play basketball in post secondary this fall. 

Big thank you to our organization committee, alumni players, volunteers, sponsors as well as Angela’s family. It was a wonderful day playing basketball and sharing some Raider memories.
