MEDIA REMINDER - Schools stand up to bullying by recognizing Pink Shirt Day

In today’s digital world, it can be impossible to escape online bullying, whether it takes the shape of harassment, spreading rumours, sharing embarrassing information or threats. This year’s Pink Shirt Day theme is encouraging others to combat cyberbullying by thinking twice before posting something negative, and instead using the Internet to spread kindness - because we know that Nice Needs No Filter!

  • Wednesday, February 28 from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

  • Central Middle School (5121 48 Ave. Red Deer)

We invite the media to attend Central Middle School to see students having their hair painted as well as wearing their STAND UP pink shirts. Please attend the school office upon your arrival.
