What is the Red Deer Public Schools Community Programs?

Mission Statement:  To enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Red                                                                                              
Deer by providing opportunities for life long learning through high
quality and affordable community programs.

• Red Deer Public Schools Community Programs administration is housed at Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School.

• On Line Courses - Over 250 courses to choose from.

• High School courses are offered during the evening and on a daily basis during Summer. Students receive credit towards their diploma after    successfully completing their courses.


On Line Registration is now available for all the following sections:

• Life long learning programs are offered for all ages during fall, winter, spring and summer.



• Diploma Exam preparation classes, designed to assist students preparing for the provincial diploma exams are offered during December/Janaury and May/June.
                                                                                                                                                        
• Tutorial classes for grades one to nine are offered during the summer.
