"Straight Talk" for School Councils
A dialogue on our hopes and aspirations for public school education
July 31, 2010

If public education belongs to the community, then it is our responsibility to ensure that public school education is responsive to the community’s needs and is community driven.

"Straight Talk" is a resource prepared by the Public School Boards Association of Alberta. It provides a process to engage stakeholders in a dialogue about the dreams and aspirations of students, parents and communities; about how public education fits into those dreams for our communities and province.  The following resources support a "Straight Talk" discussion.

Please contact your school trustee liaison or our Board Chair to make arrangements for one of these conversations.
